Acworth United Methodist Church offers several groups and ways to fulfill the mission of our congregation which is to COME, CONNECT, GROW and GO. You can COME by attending worship services with us Sunday Mornings at 8:30am, 9:30am or 11:00am, we'd love to see you! You can CONNECT by joining a group the meets in a bit more social capacity than a studious one. We have groups for just getting to know our church family better so that you can quickly feel at home here at AUMC. You can GROW by joining a Sunday Morning Bible study group or one of the many other study and faith groups that meet throughout the week. And finally, you can GO by joining in with one of the many service groups that reach out to the community with the love of Christ. We have groups for both local and foreign missions, your passion for helping other is certain to fit somewhere! We are always ready to serve the community in new ways as well if you have a passion we haven't captured. Come join us as we grow closer to one another and to Christ!
This group is generally made up of parents of pre- to elementary-school aged children but that is not meant to exclude anyone. We grow in faith through study of scripture and other "book studies". We are so named because of our affinity for having breakfast between each study (and often more frequently). Please come join us for fellowship each Sunday morning!
Meets Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
Class meets at 0930 in E103 across from the Food Pantry. We study God's Word and fellowship in a warm, welcoming small group setting. Come join us!
